The method for calculating water consumption for a blow molding machine is as follows:
1. Determine the number of bottles the blow molding machine will produce per hour and set the production quantity.
2. Determine the nozzle inner diameter and working pressure of the blow molding machine. Generally, the smaller the nozzle inner diameter, the lower the water consumption.
3. Calculate the water volume Q (in liters/second) ejected from the nozzle per second based on the nozzle inner diameter and working pressure.
4. Multiply the number of bottles produced per hour (X) by the time each bottle requires to be sprayed with water to obtain the water consumption Y (in liters/hour) required by the blow molding machine per hour. Generally, the blow molding machine needs to continuously spray water for cooling, lubrication, etc., during the bottle formation process; this time will vary due to various factors.
